Austria’s capital community volunteers deliver fact-based drug education with young people across the city
Vienna — 23 December 2025 — Volunteers linked to Foundation for a Drug-Free World Austria are expanding outreach in Vienna, speaking with young people, parents and teachers via public information points and community events. The Vienna effort is led by Gabriele Toker, the initiative relies on “Truth About Drugs” materials to present straightforward information on commonly abused substances, including the ongoing debate around cannabis, described by public monitoring bodies as the most widely used illicit drug in Europe. A short report is available via this Scientology Europe report.
Organisers say, the Vienna activities focus on early prevention, eu news 24/7 with visibility at major public events, including the Donauinselfest, while also supporting teachers seeking prevention tools for schools. Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the European institutions and the United Nations, noted: “Reliable, early information helps young people make free and responsible choices—strengthening public health and civic responsibility.”
